They don't have to be "gaudy". Some do look like big fake rings, but many
are attractive and not too large. I love the sparkle of a cocktail ring...

I dont do 'cocktail' rings but do have a few 'decorative' ones that came from Spencers or Hot Topics, which only rarely do I wear, maybe at a night on the town with friends or get togethers.

I think it just depends on the ring. Some look really classy, while others are just too flashy and fake.

Nay, not my style. The rings I wear are strictly simple bands, I'm not much for sparkles.
