1 tankini that doesn't fit anymore - way too tight. 1 one piece, I can still squeeze into it but my boobs are too big to wear it right now (gained some weight, am now in the process of taking it off). 1 new swimdress that is actually pretty cute and kind of sporty.
Two colorful and the other is navy. They all fit, so it's no need to purchase more. I'll buy a new one next year, hopefully. Trying to move from a medium to small.
Now, I'm a smedium. Not small, but a little meat for a meduim.
One, a simple tank that I will use until it's shot or doesn't fit. It's a little big right now, so by next summer, I'll probably need to go down a size, and I'm okay with that.
I don't see any real point to buying more than one for myself...I'm a simple one-piecer, and the only reason to go for multiple suits would be to change up color, which is not important to me at all. I'm pretty picky, and it's hard enough for me to find just ONE I really like the look of, once I do, call off the dogs, the search is over, let's get out of this store already. Finding two that aren't basically identical that I like would be like lightning striking twice in the same spot. Also, quality suits are ridiculously expensive.
I probably own 5 bikini bottoms (all with matching tops) and then 4 or 5 more tops that are the same colors and can mix and match with the bottoms. I have to buy a smaller size on top since i'm not so blessed up there, but I have super curvy hips so... handy that you can do that with bikinis! Own a few pair of board shorts too, to throw on when we're playing in the ocean.
I grew up on an island so I LOOOOOVE the water! Been swimming since before I could walk!
zero I just dont understand why some people are so crazy about swimsuits or pools or the ocean for that matter . I think it has alot to do with the way I was raised and we were not allowed to have swimsuits or go swimming . My mothers father was a minister and he did not like women and girls showing their bodys like that . So she was raised not being allowed to have one and she raised us the same way. So I dont own one.
That's a shame. Swimming and modesty aren't mutually exclusive. I've seen plenty of folks swim in shorts and t-shirts, especially at water parks or rafting. I wear board shorts and a t-shirt to avoid sunburn or surf rash. Last I checked there's no dress code for oceans, lakes, and rivers. Jump in.

I have at least 9 swimsuits (5 tankinis, 2 bikinis, 2 one-piece suits).
But 1 of the tankinis and the 2 one-pieces I need to get rid of. I prefer those strapless one-pieces and 1 of the tankinis I never worn (had it for 2 years), but don't care for it anymore. And need 2 new bikinis (strapless types I love better).
I go like, every other year to buy new swimsuits. But next summer, I'm definitely buying 2 new bikinis (strapless types though) and 2 new one-pieces next year.
None. I don't really do anything requiring swim suits these days. When we had a pool I had at least 2-4 and some brand new k-mart cheapies on hand to give to anyone who forgot a suit if they were visiting and wanted to swim. I only needed a bunch because I would swim pretty much everyday when we had a pool.
I always replace any that started to not be tight/new.
