For crying out loud, just go out and run in them to see how they feel. People over the internet cant tell you if you're going to get blisters. I highly doubt it. Just go out and put about 25-50 miles on them to see how you feel. One 4 mile run is not going to be enough for you to know if they are good or bad. You'll need to break them in first.

Default Adidas

My favorite sport! I am not the fastest runner but I am addicted to the runner's high. Sorry back to the topic.

Get your feet evaluated because they do change. My arch changed through the years of running (24 yrs). I've moved from Reebok to Adidas. For years, Reeboks were the best but as stated before my feet changed. I can still use them but afterwards my feet are killing me so get evaluated.

Good luck!

Everyone is different, as has been said. I will say I've always had the best luck with Asics and never really liked the extra Saucony padding. It's hard to know w/o someone helping you, but maybe if you can order 5 or 6 pairs, all different, and just return the ones which don't work all at once?!
I can't stand the extra padding either and have always gotten blisters when the shoes don't hit right on my heels. I'm an Asics girl myself. This idea of ordering several pairs and then returning what doesn't work is a good one. Best of luck!

Don't order shoes! You need to try them on, walk and run in them, check your gait, see if you're landing evenly on the different parts of your foot and not over or under pronating. You need to try them on for fit, make sure they don't rub or slip.

Ordering shoes online is for people who know what they wear.

The best shoe on earth for me might be the worst for you.

I think its a terrible idea. I would NEVER EVER do that, nor will I EVER recommend for anyone to do it. It just does not make good personal finance sense and it is a complete waste of time having to re-box, re-package, take trip to UPS store and PAY to resend unwanted shoes back. Then you have to hope that the reimbursement appears on your next credit/debit card statement. If credit card, you could still be charged interest on the total amount. Obviously not an MBA who came up with that idea.

Finding a good pair of running shoes is really through trial and error. You can do the research online and read the reviews, but bottom line is that you need to run in the shoes (and break them in) to be able to make an educated decision on what will suit YOU.

That is why I prefer Nike Shox first and foremost, then Brooks and others after that.
