It's timed with Trump demanding the US get out of Syria once again (2nd time in 2 weeks) and the collapse of the rebel stronghold in E. Ghouta and another stronghold nearing capitulation in Duma. The false flag chemical attacks always occur when the government forces are about to rout the rebels in a region. Intense aerial bombing of Duma had stopped and a final ground assault to clear out the rebels has commenced.

Jaish al-Islam backed out of evacuation agreement that was already underway. As with Khan Shaykuhn, the casualties were probably due to the earlier bombardment by the Syrian military. Apparently, there were also a lot of British special forces soldiers captured. (Read The Seven Pillars of Wisdom and you'll know all these terrorist groups are led by British officers).
