Thus never touch ukrainians with Galichina ss division. Many russian was in wermacht. More then ukrainian actually.
I am aware as my dad's uncle saw them in werhmacht uniform in France. Of course they called them all Russians so its hard to say what they really were.

This is incorrect. There were non-Germans in the wehrmacht, Osttruppen among them. They were technically auxilleries sure, but part of the wehrmacht.
Yeah , they were technically part of Heer . It slipped my mind . Ostlegionen were formed after defeat at battle of Moscow . In each region there were national committees . They were filled with immigrant activists of volga tatars , georgians , armenians and of many others nationalities . They were basically making anticommunist propaganda , they printed nationalistic newspapers and also provided many study courses for people .
