Russian MOD stated the incident happened and the person who illustrated the story went to inappropriate lengths to get the message out. The Russian media ran screaming hysterics with it in a way that would make CNN proud. This is not the first time the US has been accused of inaction in certain situations. The truth may never be known and I trust neither.

On another note, isn't it funny how Ukraine tries to pretend to be so concerned about human rights in Crimea now? They sure didn't care before it was Russian. Using the issue of "human rights" to score political points against Russia is in my opinion hypocritical of many countries that just voted for it.
Yeah. East and west Ukraine. The people of western Ukraine have good reason to feel as they do. I think their own nation would be appropriate. Poles, Germans everybody around them have essentially taken advantage of them, including Russia at times. They should be allowed to decide for themselves what they want to do. Same with the Easterners. I really do think they're a much better fit with Russia in many ways.

As for the Crimea Russia isn't going to give it up. Not ever. I do know it was severely neglected by the Ukrainian goverment since their independence. Its status was always in doubt because of what Kruschev did in the 50s. It was an investment risk for both Russia and the Ukraine so it was in limbo. What we see about the Crimea now is simply propaganda. No one in the west gives a damn about the Tartars other than how useful they are as victims.

Just checked some news about that Russian MOD story. they're going to get their butts handed to them for this one. Apparently all the photos were faked. Even South Front is chiming in.

Okay. An update on the Russian MOD scandle. Somebody allowed a large group of ISIS fighters to escape the Raqqa area unmolested. That somebody seems to be the US backed coalition. The Syrians tried to attack the column but were forced to break off the mission due to interference from coalition aircraft. According to a BBC reporter who saw and filmed the column headed out of Syria they have now disbursed into Iraq and Turkey.

The situation is a mess. MSM is not touching this but htere's a lot of stuff all over the internet.

Go to the website ,where you can select points and dates and to buy tickets.Everything usually.Only the train ride is quite boring,an endless strip of trees and all. Maybe you want not just to travel and visit cities and other things?

That actually sounds like a lot of fun, though it could have something to do with the fact that I’m a train enthusiast.

Excluding the cost of a ticket to Russia, the cost of a train ticket from Moscow to Vladivostok in usual train

3rd class (awful place) 135$

2nd class (for four passenger) 378$

1st class (for one ot two) 829$

Travel by train allows you to feel how big Russia is .

And there is a special train "Imperial Russia" price from 15895 $ to 33995 $ for one person.
