Why haven't Late Night Talk Shows like we have here in The United State not been as successful in other countries like U.K., Canada, Australia, France, Japan, Italy, etc,.? Why has the format been a failure in other countries?

Isn't The Graham Norton Show one such talk show? I occasionally watch it but I'm in the US. I don't know what time it's on in the UK.
Yes but it didn't lasted for several years. Other Countries (like U.K) have tried to have a successful Late Night Shows like in The United State but most have never lasted more then 5 years or or been ratings success. The genre has just never caught on or been popular in other countries. Britain has no Late Night shows at the moment.
There is no Johnny Carson, David Letterman, Jay Leno or Conan O'Brien in other countries... except for reruns.
We have talk shows, but do they really have to be american copies?
Michael Parkinson in the U.K. and Lennart Hyland in Sweden both had successful talk shows that was aired for many years.
Parkinson was also an international success.
I believe most European comedy talk shows are on earlier, not at 11:35 pm (Fallon, Kimmel). Do Americans really stay up that late every weekday? I think most of them only air weekly. The opening monologue is also more of an American phenomenon.
