I mean if some of the people who wanted Gitmo closed were "far left" types...then it couldn't have possibly been a centrist decision.

I should point out also that I live in an area that is very Democrat. However there are many here (I'm self employed, so I meet a lot of people) who wanted no part of Obama, and definitely didn't want Gitmo closed.
Oh, but these are the "bitter clingers", clinging to there "guns and religion" as OB put it!
Have you considered the source? (Not digging on that poster.) Seriously. Do you consider comments like that to be a majority?
(I took it as sarcasm, personally. I've seen NeoCons going on and on about how Obama is the Antichrist per Nostradamus but I don't say that therefore, a majority must feel that way. Then again, I can balance things enough in my mind to realize when I'm seeing extremism from one side or another and when I'm not.)
Please read the context in which the poster called Obama a saviour. It was not in the context of a "Messiah."
Plus, cutting taxes while fighting two wars (actually four if you count the terrorism and vice wars) is how a country goes bankrupt.
I got news for you this country is very close to bankrupt now and how do you think people are going to pay higher tax to fight two war when they don't even have a job....They can't even feed their family's much less support the money hungry politicians in Washington.

Obama is our savior, our savior from Bush and all his little bushies. No one believes that hes going to be perfect, or one of the best presidents ever. But that he will bring change from the corrupt and inept government that all you conservatives forced down our throats the past 8 years. Even if that means I disagree with him on some subjects, I still follow him whole-heartedly
