Well, one can't say the sentiments expressed on the ornament aren't long overdue. It does seem rather unusual that Laura Bush would still allow the ornament to go up, though her press secretary had this to say...

"it really is too bad. I haven't seen the ornament, but I would hope that no one would take this as an opportunity to be divisive and partisan. There is a time and place for everything, and I don't think this is either."

Just another example of what a bunch of petty idiots the liberal Democrats are - and how Bush consistently ignores their childishness.

But the bottom line is this: WHY HAVEN'T THE DEMOCRATS ALREADY IMPEACHED BUSH? They COULD have done it 2 years ago, but they didn't.

Anybody but total idiots can figure it out.

We did not impeach bush because we did not have sufficient votes to stop any opposition fillibusters. Now we do.

Hogwash! All it takes is a simple majority - which you have had for 2 years.

The Democrats haven't impeached Bush because you KNOW that you'd make international fools of yourselves. You know you could not remove him from office, because there's nothing he has done that could possibly be construed as impeachable offenses. In the end, you'd look even more stupid than the Republicans did when they impeached Clinton. End of story.

Laura Bush is being gracious, and also smart (IMO).

The artist has shown poor judgement and seems pretty immature to me. My guess is she'll eventually wish she hadn't done this because, frankly, it's tacky.

The artist was just attempting to honor a hero of hers and many liberals...Seattle Congressman Jim McDermott.
