A statement given to the AP by Obama's campaign said, "Senator Obama has no knowledge of her status but obviously believes that any and all appropriate laws be followed."
Geez, the right is really stretching with this one. An aunt who he never knew growing up. And Obama wants the law to take care of the situation. Gee...what a novel idea for a politician to want a law to actually do it's job.
Right. He didn't know. Does anyone have a comment about Obama's relatives living in poverty while he makes $4.2 million a year? It just seems funny to me that he wants to "spread the wealth" to take care of people who cannot take care of themselves, yet he does nothing to take care of his own family living in poverty when he has the money to do so. And it wouldn't take much to help them, either.

Oh give it a rest. He doesn't have a relationship with, or know the whereabouts of every single one of his relatives, here and in Africa. Do you support every single one of your relatives--even those you don't know-- who are having financial hardship?
You know, I have a relative in the Czech Republic, whom I visited 15 years ago. We lost touch. If he showed up in the U.S., illegally, would I be responsible?
