The GOP is dreading General Powell's announcement as another "final" nail in the coffin. Essentially Colin Powell is a military genius & highly approved by all Americans. Powell served under President Reagan & was responsible for the wise success of the Gulf War under daddy Bush. A registered Republican, General Powell is hero to our military. He left the Bush-2 administration in 2005.

What Powell will be saying to the Armed Services is that it is OK to vote Democratic since General Powell will be invited to serve on another Cabinet under President Obama.

The impact on McCain, a fellow serviceman, will be a severe blow.

Colin Powell is the only man of integrity and intelligence to ever be a member of Jr.'s cabinet. He is still pissed that he was also lied to and misled by Bush/Cheney fiction and fabrication machine, along with 100's of millions of Americans.

Collin Powell has stronger influence on people than any other politician [ie Gore] & will shift military support to Democratic party.

That's why Fox News, Rush and the rest of the wing-nuts are cranking up their "Powell sucks" campaign to try to discredit this fine American hero!

Are you kidding? Would Fox News dare to criticize Powell?

Default Colin Powell is ready to endorse!

"It now seems beyond doubt that Colin Powell will endorse Barack Obama and thereby hammer the final nail in the coffin of the Republican campaign to hold onto the White House."

That is a biggie!

Gen. Powell has been out of the loop and under the radar for so long, I really doubt this will have any sway at all on anyone whose mind is not already made up.

Also, where we currently are in the elections, is it not a bit late to be making endorsements? So he endorses the Chosen one - I still wont vote for him.

Drum roll...another day, another candidate endorsement.

Thinking for one's self is best.
