So, now the media and the Obama thugs are coming after Joe the Plumber, a middle-class, hard-working guy that had a question for Obama, whose answer was very troubling.
So now the focus is to destroy this poor guy, who was thrust into the debate through no fault of his own and who has said obama policies are socialistic.
Time to bring out the big guns, start going through his trash, looking for heinous crimes, affairs, drug charges, DUI's and whatever else they can dig up.
Don't those kind of tactics, against just a plain, middle-class guy, bother anybody?
You know what is telling? The Obama campaign must realize what he said, what Joe has said, could be damaging. Time to destroy the guy and his family.
Where did you get any of that from? I haven't seen anyone trying to "destroy the guy", but at the same time, let's look at his situation in the proper context (like I did above).

I don't recall Obama bringing up Joe the Plumber at all during the debate; McCain did. I personally think Joe is enjoying his fifteen minutes of fame, but if McCain has used a better example, no one would know who Joe the Plumber is.
All right already! Some repub plant says something and it's an ISSUE!
HE'S an "expert" all of a suden...he's had his say...now he should shut up and quit MILKING his 15 minutes of fame!
How about that scraggily Republican woman who called Obama an "Arab" ???
Let's get her on the talk shows!!!! Maybe they can force her to comb her hair at least once before crawling out of bed.
I am SICK to death of being called either a "hockey MOM" or "Joe Six (alcoholic)pack" or JOE anything...
Sick of Republicans trying so desperately to stereotype every one of us into two sexist pigeon holes!!!!
How FAR away from real Americans can they get!!!!!
Informed Consent - I agree with your post completely.
I have three children and have seen what a lot of the liberal thinking in education has created.
Take a look at "kidspelling" - Kids are allowed to spell words however they think it should be and it is just fine to do so.
This "plan" of the spreading the wealth is basically the same thing - do nothing and yet be rewarded - for what??
So the result, they go through their education spelling as they think it should be and then are told one week in their entire educational career that it is wrong and they need to spell it right by the end of the week or they will get it wrong on their "word study" test. After that week, it's ok again.
It gets worse though Jersey, while I agree that spelling and grammar are important as they are a core foundation to getting our message across, we have failed to teach "content" of an argument and the process of "logic" concerning it.
Critical thinking has been replaced with "creative thinking". Logical Analysis with "relative analysis". Our kids are growing up not only severely lacking in the ability to speak and write effectively, but also lack the ability to think and properly reason effectively. This creates a hot bed for lies and fallacies to run rampant. It is the diet of the devious and the drink of the controlling.
People who are programmed in this manner are extremely easy to control, manipulate and lead. They do not question, they are easily impressed, and they have no concern for the truth. They are easily played to a side and believe everything is about being on the winning side of a proclaimed truth, not being on the right side of an actual truth.
This is dangerous because over time these children will move up into the ranks of society (many have already exist in it), they will be the easily manipulated by media, by big government, by false claims and frenzied rumors. This is the greatest danger of our time, yet it is the most purposely confused issue.
Are you telling me you only vote in a Govt. to run the municipalities?
I fully understand it most likely isn't going to shrink. At this point it needs to slow down not speed up towards socialism. Once it runs everything in your life you'll understand. And free market will be that dreamy idea that only lived a short while.

Joe da Plumber is not running for office.....!
Fire away!
He was no plant since Obama went to his neighborhood. But you are pathetic to believe so. I do have to laugh how he has so many of you Obamabots scared though.
I do agree though that we have more than enough threads about someone who means nothing to this election.
Middle Class America isnt bankrupt. Middle America has more purchasing power today than at any point in American history.
That is an interesting comment. You do know that home equity is a significant factor in tallying that purchase power number, which in my opinion is very flawed logic. What is more indicative of our real purchasing power (meaning actual dollars not credit availability) is the savings rate decline of our economy. Peter Schiff has outlined these issues well if you were inclined to review some of his articles on the current economy. He makes no mention of supporting either candidate; he just has an interesting view on the current state of the economy...and not a very good one at that.
