Before Lola gave the answer above, she really should have read Tater's entire post. What Taterhead's doctor said to her is what a lot of scientists have said about the decline of science in this country and the growth of science and technology in China and in other countries. The US is going downhill due to the anti-intellectualism and the anti-science bias instilled by the current administration. Putting more anti-intellectuals in office will do nothing to reverse the dumbing down of America. We're losing our place as scientific leaders.
