Capitol Hill sources are telling me that senior McCain people are more than concerned about Palin. The campaign has held a mock debate and a mock press conference; both are being described as "disastrous." One senior McCain aide was quoted as saying, "What are we going to do?" The McCain people want to move this first debate to some later, undetermined date, possibly never. People on the inside are saying the Alaska Governor is "clueless."

Well, he needs to add a link or something....but yeah, I think they're fighting like wolverines to get the VP debates moved to November 5.

Motive for the political ploy he pulled... trying to bump his debate with BO to the date Palin and Biden are supposed to debate. In turn rescheduling the VP "for a later date". Hmmm...

But you have no names? That's as credible as "Lucille," who "heard" that Palin called Obama and Hillary Sambo and *****. NEXT!

Great! I've been wondering what they think. Someday we'll get it all...with names. It'll be nice. Hopefully soon and not in four years.

As Palin becomes better known, both her strengths and weaknesses are also becoming better known .... and to many (including me), her weaknesses FAR outweigh her strengths.

Whether she stays or goes ... well, I was going to say that it doesn't matter to me, but it does. We have precious little time as it is to get to know enough about Palin to make an informed decision. Yank her out of there and put someone else in, and unless that person is a mainstream politician, we're right back where we started, only with even LESS time.

The larger question for me - and it has bothered me since McCain picked Palin (and caused me to say "Who??") - is, what does this say about the judgment shown by McCain? And is this the type of judgment we want to see in our next President?

That makes it about as credible as the article you posted in your thread that said the "Wall Street titans" had requested McCain's presence in Washington to save the day. Either Wall Street purchased the Tennessee Titans, or your article is just as non-credible........

McCain Camp insiders say Palin "clueless"
maybe because the mccain camp sent her to some bush advisors to school her on foreign policy. which made her confused since the original plan was to run on a campaign opposite or different of bush admin?!
