My theory: Bush tries to think. Sarah is too full of it and has a ready-made answer from one of the cards they showed her during her recent training. I hope in the debates they ask her some follow-up questions to the knee-jerk answer she will give the first time.
One must have a brain to think ... the reason Wonderboy's eyes cross is because there's no grey matter to focus on. Dan Quayle has to wake up each and every day and say "I'm smarter than THAT guy".
In truth her confident ,out going personality hides alot.
She does it well ,know's exactly what she is doing and has fooled many INCLUDING much of media.
She is truly Dick Cheney with hair but know's much less about issues than Cheney.
I do like her "Bee-hive" hair do its neat and different .
Why do all of these people posting on here keep saying they are scared? I am so tired of hearing, "scarey". What are they scared of--someone's little religion? These religious beliefs have been around for decades--completely harmless. Don't you think you should be more "scared" of terroists, or socialists--or whatever? What Wimps!
I'm not scared of her religion - despite her desire to impose it on the rest of us, the checks and balances in our system will prevent that from happening.
I AM afraid she could start a world war, if merely by her stupid hair-trigger comments that are making us look even worse internationally (if that's even possible at this point).
Roberta - please think. And I do not mean that in an insulting way.
Don't you think her hubris is just a compensation for her lack of knowledge about certain things? She has to puff herself up to make herself look larger than life. An overcompensation, like George W, her karmic twin.
I just never understood, too, how you can be anti-abortion, pro-family, pro-"God," yet enjoy killing animals. A hunter is one thing I can partially understand it, but she wants the personna of a Goody Two Shoes, hockey mom, special needs child mom, etc. etc. yet is slaughtering the moose. Conflicted woman.
TXboomerang loves Palin; what a shocker. Why am I not suprised.
Bush as governor, twice,
The state motto is "thank God for Mississippi and Alabama" (otherwise TX would be 50th in any measure of "good stuff".
The state where the viewing galleries in the state legislature are known as "owner's boxes".
Where Kinky Friedman's campaign slogan when he ran for governor (and it wasn't meant to be ironic) was, "how d**n hard could the job be".
Where big hair is considered "in style".

TX has the 10th largest economy in the world. It has weathered the economic downturn better than almost the rest of the country. Thanks for playing though!
BTW, the reason I love Sarah Palin is the mere mention of her name causes the moonbats to totally lose it and start making fools of themselves so fast they almost trip over themselves trying to do it. This thread is yet another perfect example.
Someone said to me today that they think the scariest thing about Palin is that she has (seemingly) no humility. I thought about that and tend to agree. I don't care what party you belong to...someone without humility in executive power is a problem, and as president of the US? Could cost a lot of lives.
As much as I can't stand Bush as president, he's got humility (er...how could he not...).
Sarah Palin is very dangerously ambitious. And her ambition is to become President. She will say and do ANYTHING to get there. Actually if I was McCain, I would be very scare.
I sense that there's a great deal of humility in her.
Of course, I have to throw in Obama's belief that he is entitled to the presidency, and don't anyone dare question that, or you can see the irritation in his eyes. That's not the least bit humble.
