I know this is not a popular sentiment, but I am glad we have a free press, even though I know that there are always biases. I do not have time to run up to Alaska or Arizona or Illinois or Delaware or Washington to, so I rely on many media sources to help me fill in the missig pieces about the candidates. It was sort of ironic that McCain's campaign uses the media to get its message out, just like anyone else, but somehow rails against the very idea of it. Maybe the media elite should turn off the cameras, stop the presses and stop giving the McCain campaign free air time?

What I do not understand is if Palin is so gifted/special incrediable person why was she not mention before. None of the Republicans were talking about her last yr/beginning of this yr/3 wks ago until last week wednesday when McCain picked her.

If she is so smart/brilliant why are the MCCain camp hiding her from the media. I think she is just there only so women will vote for McCain. I find it very shameful that McCain camp speak so highly of her but believe she does not have the ability to speak off script or answer Americans questions/issues.

Why are they hiding her from the media if she is so smart?
