There is a reason wy people pay $45,000 a year for an undergraduate degree. Think Harvard Law School and think lawyer salaries and then think Chicago cost of living.

I would expect something like that except and I really hate to quote wiki....:

"Following law school, she was an associate at the Chicago office of the law firm Sidley Austin where she first met her husband. At the firm, she worked on marketing and intellectual property.[2] Subsequently, she held public sector positions in the Chicago city government as an Assistant to the Mayor and Assistant Commissioner of Planning and Development. In 1993, she became Executive Director for the Chicago office of Public Allies, a non-profit organization encouraging young people to work on social issues in nonprofit groups and government agencies.[7] In 1996, Obama served as the Associate Dean of Student Services at the University of Chicago, where she developed the University's Community Service Center.[22] In 2002, she began working for the University of Chicago Hospitals, first as executive director for community affairs and, beginning May, 2005, as Vice President for Community and External Affairs.[23] She still holds the position, though is working part time in order to devote more time to being a mother.[24]"

Only for the purpose of the discussion.....

She managed in 3 years to jump 260% in salary and the conveniently took off to be a mother.

Obviously I have nothing against mothers....But no one I mean no one get's a 260% raise on merits alone.

I'll be back for more fun discussions later.

You mean people are losing their homes all over the country and Obama get a slick behind the scenes deal for his mortgage?
And his buddy and close friend runs the most corrupt Mortgage Loan Company in the nation and was on Obamas team of advisors all along? And is under criminal investigation?
How dare Obama take a special loan when people are struggling. What a leader he is? NOT

Lets dig into this and not let it drop, something tells me this is illegal deal.

It's fairly obvious that Michelle got that big ol pay raise due to her hubby.

She had neither the experience or competence to warrant such a large increase in salary.
