Would the anti-Clinton vote erode his lead and give McCain the election?

I may venture a guess and say yes, it would.

I imagine there are hundreds of paid individuals doing mathmatical computations to decide if Hillary will be helpful, or harmful to Obama.. I suspect that she will not be the vp candidate. There are a lot of people on the border between Obama and McCain but cant stand Clinton.. this is all Obama needs, give people to vote against him..

Let's assume that Hillary would add an additional 20% of the white woman vote. Would she turn away a comparable 20% of the white male vote? Would a white male running mate, like Edwards, bring more of the white vote to Obama?

He would win if he had her on ticket.

Obama doesn't need Hillary on the ticket to get the white woman's vote. I'm a white woman ready to vote for Obama, and having Hillary on the ticket would strongly push me to vote "Santa Claus" Leave Hillary off.

If anything Hillary would hurt his campaign more than help. He needs a more conservative, white male in order to win this election. The hardest demographic for him to win will be middle class, working, white males.

I think there are more women who would vote for Obama if Hillary was on the ticket, than vice versa.
