If you want to spend yourself silly buying weapons to kill boogeymen invented and probably financed by defense contractors to increase profits DESPITE having already spent tens of trillions to build the most powerful defense the world has ever seen and that which approximates the sum total of those of the rest of the world, GO AHEAD.

Hey, bud, I didn't insult YOU. I didn't even say I was a liberal (I'm not). But you conservatives--I can use that term because that's how you describe yourself--feel compelled to use labels and insults to get your "point" across. At no point in your statement did you give a valid reason WHY something was what you described. You just strung a bunch of adjectives together and called it an argument: "delusional, naive, loony, nutty". Get my drift? When you can back up the idea that arming everyone to the teeth is the way towards peace, I'll consider listening. Until then, please say those insults into a mirror. I certainly don't deserve them.

My apologies for any perceived insults. I get a bit annoyed when I read pacifist rhetoric, and I'm sorry, that's how I construed your post. However, I despise the attitude and stated intentions of that fool Barack Obama.
This nation has many enemies who would dearly love to see us disarm ourselves. The Russians and Chinese come to mind first but then we can't forget about the legions of Islamofascists who want to impose their archaic and barbaric mores on all of us "infidels."
It is stupidity of the highest order to think that by unilaterally disarming, we increase our national security. Thousands of years of human history proves that attitude to be foolish and self-destructive. Basic human emotions and motivations haven't changed a whit since history has been recorded, the means to act upon said things however has, and drastically.
I hope Hillary Clinton gets the nomination, she is winning the popular vote ( and in some cases delegates/ I think. ) I ran into a person and we got caught up all up in the election, and brought to my attention that they had voted for Barack Obama. I simply asked why, told me they were tagged in by the word " change " but failed to see the truth. Mention if they could vote again without hestitation they would vote for Hillary Clinton, hope she gets the nomination as well.

I hope to God that those nutcases on the Left don't get their way and get Obama elected. The thought of him as President, Pelosi as Speaker, and Reid as Majority Leader is simply too frightening to contemplate. However, it makes it difficult to get the truth out when the media has abandoned any sense of impartiality and is doing it's damndest to get that idiot Obama elected.
