CNN Political Ticker: All politics, all the time - Blogs from CNN.com

Looks like it is over when you are down big in the polls and your core groups are fleeing. I guess the answer to the age old question is:

To get on the other side and get out of the rain and dry off

Well,
This is good for the party and shows unity despite initial differences.

Yup.

As I've said, the party will heal and most will fall into line behind Obama.

Anything else is either wishfull thinking on the part of Republicans - or simply sour grapes on the part of a handful of Clinton supporters.

A romp is coming in November.

PS - I thought this particular sentence was telling: "Obama leads or ties Clinton among women, Easterners, whites, adults with no college education, and Hispanics, with the New York senator’s support now below 50 percent in each group, according to Gallup. Both are backed by 47 percent of white voters surveyed, and Obama is essentially tied with Clinton – 47 percent to 46 percent – among Democrats whose education level is a high school diploma or less."

So much for the doom and gloom theories that "Obama can't pull in certain demographics". The fact is, groups that typically vote Democratic are still likely to vote Democratic - whether they be women who would have preferred Hillary or Hispanics who may not particularly care for Blacks, groups that vote Democratic will generally come on board in the final analysis.

Why would Obama want the stupid people? Does he look forward to being the candidate that gets the redneck vote? The uneducated? Does he really want the stigma attached to ex-Hillary supporters?

Looks like even the uneducated rednecks might be coming around, just takes them longer than the average Obama voter. Nevertheless Obama and his supporters are willing to take the high road, forgive and forget and welcome them aboard.

How precious and elitist.

You're right...the uneducated rednecks tend to be slow to come around. It takes a while for certain mathematical facts to sink in.....such as the fact that Obama leads in all the parameters (pledged delegate, superdelegate, and popular vote counts). Math is hard, but it can't be this hard....even for rednecks.

They better come along if they want a new legislation in their favor: "No Redneck Left Behind Act"
