Considering that Sen. Obama has received $1.18 million from subprime lenders and has taken more campaign contributions from the top ten issuers of subprime loans that attack rings hollow as just words. Sen. Obama has a record of talking about standing up to special interests and then caving to their demands.

You cannot take more Wall Street money than the other two candidates and say that Hillary Clinton is too connected. YOu would think at some point he would realize that he is going to get CAUGHT at this bull****. The MSM may give him passadena, but not us. Numbers are numbers.

Ugh.

This seems to come up every once in awhile. When you donate money to a campaign, they have to ask you who your employer is. Large employers have a lot of employees. These numbers you posted are simply derived by adding up all the individual donors (who have given more than $200 donations) that work for that company. You can even look them up individually, by company, whatever. This isn't "special interest" money. It's money given by individuals like you and me.

For example, your number for Centex is actually a little low. It was probably derived before February 20th, when Don Summers of Palm Desert CA gave $200.

You're right, though. Numbers are numbers. The problems arise when people abuse them to tell a story other than the truth.

Individual working for a company =/= donations from the company.

When I first researched these numbers a couple months ago, I was a little surprised to find my name on this list of so-called special interest, corporate donors- at least that's what people who want to distort reality call it. Because I gave a $250 donation to the campaign, I am now a "special interest?" Some people call me special, but that's a whole different story.

Don't have any idea what =/= is supposed to mean. I do know that my campaign fund donations are diametrically opposed to what my employer's campaign funding is.

=/= or ≠ means "does not equal". It is a commonly used mathematical symbol.

Art123, I think those of us who post here know that you are a special interest.
