I noticed that the Super Tuesday has weird places that have power in our elections such as American Samoa and the Democrats Abroad.. they actually have delegates (albeit non-voting ones). Doesn't anyone think this is weird? There is also Guam, Virgin Islands, and other foreign "self-governed" places. In fact, we have a lot of "terroritories" such as Puerto Rico, Mariana islands, and numerous other outlying islands. We have a base on Cuba but we also have an embargo against them? Isn't this sort of weird?

Would it be because US citizens reside in these places?
