John McCain has just won a smashing victory in Florida and will take all 52 delegates. This despite the neo cons bashing him constantly. All of the neo con leaders like Rush Limball and others have been bashing McCain all week and he has risen above it all. The age of conservatives running the GOP is over it appears....FINALLY Thank God!

Absolutely. He came in second too. Why not? Rudy, who had his entire campaign strategy based on winning Florida is the real loser tonight. This is going to hurt when it comes to raising money. He spent a lot in Florida.

And conservative on the ones that don't matter to Conservatives. Note the capitalization. That's my definition of a neocon. He is FDR and GWBush all wrapped up in one neat package.

I think there is some interusage of the term "neo con" as power hungry world dominators through democracy and "so con" as people obsessed with stuffing their values down the throats of the rest of us. Sometimes an individual can be both, but not always the case, to be fair.
