GW may have been incompetent but I think he is genuinely a good person and not malicious. Mitt Romney is out for Mitt Romney. I wouldnt trust that guy to walk my dog.

I agree with this. I think GWB was just really misguided and clueless, he made some bad decisions, but probably not a bad person overall. And thought I didn't agree with a lot of his decisions I respected him as befitting the office of the President. I've never ever seen a President be so openly hated as Obama. But then again we've never had a minority President before...

Care to provide some examples of why you think this?

Yep, they are both bad news.

Bush did what Rove told him to do and so would Romney but he won't be President.

Bush isn't running. Obama and Romney are the two candidates.

You'd rather have Obama for 4 more years? Really? Or is this just a bash Romney thread?

Really? The race thing again. Without the white vote he would never have won. But now, if you don't like the 6 trillion added to our debt, the lack of net jobs, the 8% unemployment rate that does not include the people who have given up looking or are under employed, the doubling of gas prices, the kill lists, the increased socialism of America, and the fact that our embassies are being attacked, then I'm racist? I don't hate him. I hate his actions.

Yes, it's his actions and where he's taking the country.

This ex-special forces vet has a series of very good videos here. Watch this to be informed.

I'm not sure how history will treat GW Bush. He should have really downsized and fired many law enforcement and intelligence officials after 9-11 but he did not and actually expanded those areas. Additionally, he could have just eliminated a few government agencies that just don't have a purpose or have failed over the years. He tried to fix the federal housing agencies, but was blocked by the Democrats. He should have just pushed harder or at least reduced funding. His Iraq war policy goes back to the Clinton Iraq Liberation Act so I don't blame him for that war.
