T least at my location in Northeastern Massachusetts I have probaby seen 9 or 10 brown signs for each Warren sign, however my area went 2:1 Brown over Coakley. I have only seen 1 presidental yard sign, and it was Romney, but he also has a Brown and Tisei sign, as well as his state house Repub.
Brown got beaten-up pretty bad in last night's debate.
Yeah, he did. He came off very badly - obnoxious, it appeared to me. Right now, NateSilver gives Warren a 60% chance of winning. She leads Brown slightly in all but one poll. She made quite a point of Senate control last night. And his issue of Warren falsely citing Native American ancestry appeared VERY petty. She rebutted, saying her mother was half Cherokee and Delaware Indian (or something like that), and that her father's family was opposed to the marriage because her mother was Indian. Scott Brown did not look good.
^We must live in the same area because I have the EXACT same observations in my area (central/northern Middlesex County).
Ya, that the "conservative" part of the Commonweath. I honestly think Lowell's going to be a bellweather, if Brown wins Lowell, he is going to win the state, if Warren does, she will, Lowell is pretty middle of the road when it comes to Massachusetts.
Brown's current lead is just another bounce. Warren got a 10 point bump earlier after Brown was ahead. This one is going to bounce around all the way to Nov. 6th.
The interesting thing is: only 19% of Warren supporters say they may change their vote, while 33% of Brown's supporters say they may change. Can Brown keep his bounce with that? Who knows?
Don't crow too loud too soon, or you may be eating crow come November.
Last night's debate reminded me of when Rick Lazio debated Hillary for the NY senate seat years ago. He came across as a bully belittling a woman, and that does not sit well with Democrats. Lazio lost; however, he wasn't the incumbent. Like Mass., NY is comprised mostly of Democrats. We need Elizabeth in the senate!
