Election 2012: Michigan President - Rasmussen Reportsâ„¢

Rasmussen is a rightwing member and even they have the EC at 247 for Obama right now.

Perhaps Rasmussen is correct. Several other polls say it is much closer. Newer polls say it is closer.

Fact is, Obama won Michigan by 16.4% and now has to fight for it. Embarrassing for him that that seems to be the case in most midwest states.

Bain and the tax returns are hurting mittens. No doubt about it.

No...Rasmussen's last MI poll had Obama up by 8.

The polls have generally trended towards Romney slightly over the past month or so.

This Rasmussen poll has Obama at 48%...he's far from "safe" if he's polling at 48%.

Yeah right. You would love for mittens to have Obama numbers and you know it

Yes, I would. That would be a better sign for Romney than Obama's numbers are for him. You're comparing apples and oranges - an incumbent's numbers are more predictive than a challenger's.

Intrade is not a poll. It's a prediction market. That's not equivalent to Obama being at 57% in a poll or to Obama having a 17-point lead in a poll.

This is a crushing development for the Romney camp.

you keep right on thinking that. right now, it is a very slow time in politics; Romney isn't actively compaigning as most of us know, as he wants to relax and enjoy a few weeks in UK before returning, getting ready for the convention, maybe announce his running mate and get back to the job of showing us why he will be a better choice than Obama. So, you can keep thinking what you want, even though most, even liberal in the know way Bain is not hurting him, you can check the polls daily and continue to post your newly found survey's. Most of us are ready to sit back and wait another few weeks.
