Owning a political active subdivision, actually VIOLATES the 501C3 charter.
A 501(C)(3) company is one that is organized and operated exclusively for any of the exempt purposes described in section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. These purposes do not include participation in political campaigns, and 501(C)(3) companies are prohibited from these sorts of operations, whether for or against any particular candidate. They are also limited in the lobbying they can do to influence legislation.

Since Planned Parenthood runs Planned Parenthood Action Fund, they are violating their 501C3 charter.
Once again, you have proven that you know nothing about the subject matter that you comment on and pretend to understand. So I'll present a few facts to cut through the misinformation that you have been spreading throughout this thread:

Planned Parenthood didn't put this ad on TV. It was Planned Parenthood Action Fund, which is legally separate from Planned Parenthood. Planned Parenthood Action Fund receives no public monies. All monies derive from donations.

Oh you say, Planned Parenthood Action Fund is a not-for-profit and is barred from political activity.

Wrong again. Planned Parenthood Action Fund is organized under Section 501(c)(4) of the IRS code, the same section Karl Rove's "American Crossroads GPS" uses to buy advertisements used to attack President Obama.

According to part 7 of the IRS's Internal Revenue Manual, Rulings and Agreements, filed under chapter 25, section 4.7 titled "Intervention in Political Campaigns":
Quote:
Reg. 1.501(c)(4)-1(a)(2)(ii). An exempt IRC 501(c)(4) organization may intervene in political campaigns as long as its primary activity is the promotion of social welfare. IRC 501(c)(4) organizations are subject to the tax imposed by IRC 527 on any expenditure for a political activity that comes within the meaning of IRC 527(e)(2). See Rev. Rul. 81-95, 1981-1 C.B. 332. [Internal Revenue Service, 2/8/1999]

And you continue to avoid the issue and divert..

Hey MTA, check out Planned Parenthoods Action funds OWN WEBSITE
https://secure.ppaction.org/site/SPa...isclaimer.html

The Planned Parenthood Action Fund is an independent, non-partisan, not-for-profit membership organization formed as the political and advocacy arm of Planned Parenthood Federation of America.

What part of attacking Mitt Romney and endorsing Obama is non-partisan?

Furthermore, 501C4 codes are for
civic leagues or organizations not organized for profit but operated exclusively for the promotion of social welfare,

And per the IRS
The promotion of social welfare does not include direct or indirect participation or intervention in political campaigns

Social Welfare Organizations

YOUR WRONG AGAIN, but continue to defend people who violate the law. I guess as long as they are lefty, its ok, right?

They should endorse someone that will ensure economic stability and prosperity- so people can have children again instead of being thwarted for economic reasons. Planned parenthood is about money. It kills me when woman and men demand affordable day care...when they should be demanding a living wage where a person can raise their own kids- The left is so conditioned in this aspect..They forget that it is not about the freedom to work- but the freedom to stay home and raise their children themselves instead of having the state do it.

When we live in a nation that is supposedly the richest on the planet and people can not afford to breed- there is something amiss here.
