Sorry to pop your bubble but "Likability" is notoriously inaccurate when it comes to polling. In 2004, the polls said John Kerry is the more likable candidate (70%) to GW Bush (65%). (source: Michael Tomasky on Mitt Romney, the Unlikable Presidential Candidate - The Daily Beast). I can tell you those polls do not in any way reflect reality.

But just for the fun of it, the Gallop polls has Obama way ahead in terms of likeability, 60% to 31% for Romney.

Obama Has Big Likability Edge Over Romney

Americans more optimistic economy is looking up, poll says

WHICH candidate do they believe will lead this economy to a good year?

Oh dear.

More good news for Romney.
Yawn. (Neither.)

Oh, it's not me that is claiming obama's "likeability" will trump his abysmal record.

Romney's "likeability" is on the rise.

I never said you did.

That's the whole point - if it is, it is not going to be reflected in the polls that you cited.

Really?

Since becoming the presumptive Republican nominee, Romney's favorable-unfavorable rating has jumped to 50%-41%, his best ever and in the same neighborhood as Obama's 52%-46% standing.
In terms of "likeability", he's basically tied with obama.

1994, 2010 is what happens when republicans are out that far ahead of democrats. Actually, in 1994, the generic ballot was tied........
Democrats wll vote for Obama, Republicans will vote for Romney. Paulbots will scratch Pauls name on the ballet, and Indes will back Obama for the most part, do the math, Mittens is not going to be moving into the Whitehouse.

You're living in make believe land regardless of your spin on a forum. Everyone is realizing that obama loses in a landslide.

Calling a presidential candidate juvenile names makes you look small.

Then maybe your fellow Obama haters should follow your advice toward the name calling.

Funny thing there, first time I heard the word Mittens was from a Repub on this site. The Repubs attacked eachother for months on this board, heck they still do and when someone else uses the same terms they did NOW they are upset. Jeeeez, the right is full of nutjobs these days
