Another jab from Obama that's landing like a knock out blow. Obama calls out Willard on his massive flip-flop of at first wanting the auto industry to fail, then claims he supported saving them

He didn't flip flop. He consistently said he wanted the automakers to go through bankruptcy (Chapter 11, NOT Chapter 7) and reorganize. That's what eventually ended up happening - both GM and Chrysler went through the Chapter 11 reorganization process - because the bailouts didn't work.

Another goofy attempt that achieves absolutely nothing. I don't think anyone is even listening to this sort of silliness anymore. It demeaning to think that rational people don't realized there are much bigger issues this election that need to be dealt with. Obama might want to spend some time on those for a change.

Sorry but the people in Michigan KNOW BETTER!
Mitt was perfectly willing to throw them under the bus and then back it up on them.

He most definitely did flip-flop b/c every economist & financial expert agreed that a bankruptcy w/o gov't support would be the end of the car companies, and cascaded into mass closings of suppliers to these companies. Stop trying to rewrite history.

When you're on the wrong side of history it's the only option you have!
Whether I believe Mitt or not, the more important issue comes down to whether it should have cost $50 billion to save GM & Chrysler. Not to mention the fact that they are both now creating jobs overseas rather than at home. This is due to China blocking imports of GM vehicles sent from America with ridiculously high tariffs. Something Mitt has promised to take head on.
We're tready water at best right now due to Obama's $1 trillion dollar deficits. As an independent with expertise in U.S. and international economics, I truly believe deficits is the only thing keep us afloat. I also realize that it is not a sustainable path to a true, durable recovery. It's time for someone with expertise in business to take over the leadership of our country.
Nobody in their right mind gives a damn what this absolute turd of a President says. Anything that comes out of that hole below his nose has about 5% truth to it on his best day. His constituents are the only group of individuals that still buy his BS.
