-The Unions have control of health insurance for teachers.
-The same thing happens here in Texas, but it's Republican politicians that do this instead of the union.
What people? The voting public didn't vote for these Unions to gouge the public coffers. And if you say teachers, some schools actually had teachers vote to LEAVE the WEA Trust and the Union bosses came in and said they couldn't leave.

Modern Unions = anti-democratic
It sounds like you have no experience in union matters. All it takes to remove a union from your workplace is a call to the NLRB, the info is confidential and any union member can do it. It must be a union member not Mgt. or someone from outside the work group. It is more Democratic the the US Senate as it only takes a majority vote( 50%+1).
In the envirorment in the public sector that you see here I would join a public sector union.
Its going to come down to getting the vote out, as always. The Repub. ideas will be to try to keep voter turnout low as they will have a better chance. It will be fun to watch. The Repub. can only lose on there own as they are the incumbants.

Actually I have plenty of union experience.
A fellow teacher tried to get out of the union and took it to court. Some of his fellow teachers (union members) harassed him on a weekly basis.
On big votes we can't have private ballots, if we vote the wrong way, we get intimidated by union leaders - Obama supports this, this is extremely anti-democratic.
In Wisconsin, a few school districts had the teachers (you know the union members) vote overwhelmingly (in one case unanimously) to leave the WEA Trust, as the Union was financially ripping off the school on health insurance costs. The WEA came in and said contractually the school was obligated to stay with the WEA Trust. This means less money for books, computers, teacher pay, etc....but more money for the Union. This is anti-democratic.
What "people" are you talking about? The "people" of WI are reaping the benefits of Walker's union-busting agenda, finding Millions of dollars for local budgets now that PSEU have to kick in just a pittance for their own HC and pensions.
-The Unions have control of health insurance for teachers.
They used to under WEA Trust, which under the MONOPOLY was charging local districts exorbitant HC care premiums....at the taxpayer expense. Now that these districts can NEGOTIATE with HC providers, now that they are no allowed required to deal with WEA Trust, they are saving MILLIONS of dollars across the state.

Incorrect.
See, the dems/Left/unions are finding the Walker reforms are successful - lower PT bills, no layoffs, local towns and districts are finding money to close budget gaps....all because the unions now have to pair their "fair share" for their OWN HC, pensions and benefits.
The goons have admitted they CANNOT run on the CB issue, because the voters of WI are generally pleased with the results.
