part of the reason beside an economy that is improving slowly is the likability factor and women voters who support Obama.

At this point, polls mean very little. The honest to goodness general election campaign hasn't even started yet and Mr. Romney has yet to present his vision and plan for how he will tackle the nation's challenges. Electoral College calculations are the key to victory. I suspect it will be a close election, but with the President being re-elected. But with 6 full months until election day, an eternity in politics, it's too early to be speculating seriously.

interesting and Gallop has Romney up. Doesn't this tell you polls, especially this early mean nothing. Tomorrow they will differ again. if you rmember, 7 months ago Perry seemed to be a shoe in and then it was Cain.

I love it when the dems keep spouting these poll numbers here in April. I can just see them jumping up and down....wringing their damp little hands....giggling just a little, like a kid coming down the stairs Christmas morning.

God Bless the little F***ers...one and all.

It tells you something when CNN won't put out their party ID numbers. Man, they must have it so far skewed towards democrats, the outcome is certain.

Look at this;

You telling me 14% of Tea Party members will vote for obama?

And this;

In every other poll, obama loses MEN by large margins, but here, all of a sudden, he wins by 3?

Hogwash. Something fishy with this poll.

I see that Cheney's "endorsement" has helped Obama a good bit. Now if we could only get Liz to do the same.

So Romney is up in Gallup but down by almost double digits in this poll? This is why I don't care about polls until after the conventions, they are just all over the place.

Most polls have men fairly close.

florida bob, you know this has nothing to do with anything, in fact endorsements rarely have anything to do with polls or elections. In this case it has nothing.
