Exactly. He is just kissing ass to try and be Romney's vp. He thinks he can be the first hispanic president, won't help him much when Obama kicks Romney's butt come November.

Great, another 4 years of race baiting from a racist in the Oval Office. Can we count on higher unemployment and gas prices just like the first 4 years, too?

Goodie!!!!

I was just about to post this...I can't say, better late than never because this was his choice and his reasoning makes sense. I did not see him, I just read it in our paper this morning. He resaoning is: Romney will be the nominee so it is time for the party to stop fighting and get behind him.

Gingrich knows it is over: it is Santorum that can't quite give it up yet. AS much as we can all pretty much accept Romney as the nominee we also need to respect outher candidates. If Santorum thinks he standas a chance I do not understand why he should drop out. I even feel this about Paul. He knows it is over, but he will fight on, at least for now. if nothing else these candidates may have more influence on the Republican platform.

And why do you say that? What has he done to give you this impression? Do you live in Florida or have family that does, or are you just so anti Republcans you think they all should be taken to the woodshed?

If Rubio is on the ticket, watch the idiot birthers keep their mouths shut about his birth even though BOTH his parents are immigrants while only one of President Obama's parents is. They always prefer their hypocrisy to rational thought.

Yet another ringing endorsement for Romney. Reminiscent of Jeb Bush, who endorsed Romney because he "lost any hope that we’ll have anyone better." Which, if you think about it, sums up the GOP primary season quite nicely.

“I have zero doubt in my mind of two things. Number one, that Mitt Romney will govern as a conservative and number two, that he will be head and shoulders better than the guy who is in the White House right now.”
Sounds like a solid endorsement to me. It sounds to me like he didn't want to pick sides while there was still a chance of someone else winning considering what a strong VP candidate he is. I wouldn't take that as a slight against Romney, more his own political ambitions. And to be clear, I'm not criticizing him, I think it was a smart move.
