And he's in a dead heat with Romney for the nomination of one of our two major parties. I think I'll vote for Romney in the Michigan Primary just so I won't have to hear Santorum open his mouth through November. At first I thought some of his stuff was funny, but now it just ticks me off how stupid it is.

I don't know. I have no problem with vocational schools myself.

Maybe his comments infact they were not appropriate, but infact that statment is true. Some people i have even known to not be college material, and is sad, when they have to drop out.

Hey i know some young guys who went to trade schools, and do pretty darn good at making a living.
Our young should not be taught into going to College, because honestly some just won't make it. You know those of you who have made it, and my three children all college educated. Not easy at all.
A good trade these days, is sometimes better then that colledge educated carreer.

If he had said that he would have made a valid point. Instead he went with his usual fear mongering routine that is just getting tired and old. The man has no ideas, all he has is fear. He has turned into a joke.

That said, I agree that Santorum's comments are inappropriate.
Agreed. I understand the sentiment behind Obama's words quite well, but reality points at another direction. Working f/t at a minimum wage ought not equal living under a bridge because ambitious idiots decided to gentrify every neighborhood and dictate that fundamental necessity of life-- water- ought to be $500 per gallon because, in their avaricious world view, the 'market can bear it'.

Avarice did not build civilization. Hard work and commitment to a universal ethical standards did. Pirates are pirates, not legitimate commerce. Cannibals are cannibals, not legitimate religion.

Sure they do! Until too big to fail gets the government to alter foreign policy to favor cheap labor overseas and puts them in the business competing with rice paddy lifestyles of the imprisoned. It doesn't work for them, it doesn't work for small business, unions, the rest of corporate America, and it has never worked for America when "it" has no allegiance to the best interests of this nation.

Santorum said. “I want to create jobs so people can remake their children into their image, not his.”
Yeah yeah yeah, Santorum. Let's forget the unique gifts children are bestowed by their maker. Force them to be mini me politi-clergy politicians against their free will!

The military is the GOP's private GI Joe set. Their children are chattel. Sick sick sick. Why is GOP considered a valid political party anymore? I'm dying to know why.

I guess I had a very different experience in college, I had a few biased professors but most were pretty neutral.

I used to think Santorum was just extremely religious and wanted to force his views on others. Now I'm starting to think the man is crazy.
