I don't really care that much about a candidates personality. So what if he's egotistical? When questioned about whether a 1/3rd term US Senator had the experience to become prez, Obama once said "I'm LeBron, baby..." So Newt is no more egotistical than Barack.

I'm much more concerned Newt's ideas and actions, such as his support for GSE's, or his blocking of efforts to delete the pork-dealing US Commerce Dept (as speaker in the 1990's). Liberals tend to gravitate towards discussions of personality because the opportunities for name calling are so much greater.

I don't mind him sticking around myself. I guess I'm just more amazed than amused. I mean, come on! You were supposed to win this year and you're commiting political suicide before our very eyes! We won't have to do a thing this fall at this rate!

Ever since Newt started claiming credit for all of Reagan's accomplishments, I wondered how far he would go to "lie" himself to the White House. This man has no morals.
