I think he sincerely wants what is best for this country.
And that's why he will never get the support of the GOP establishment and will never be president. Allegiance to the party is paramount, and anyone who doesn't put party first will not be getting their support anytime soon. Opposition to the Democrats is really all that matters, even if that means abandoning every position they ever held (Romney) or voting against their own bills (e.g. Brownback, Crapo, Ensign, Hutchison, Inhofe, McCain).

In your opinion, is it wrong to see him as half caucasian/white?

Agreed 100%, we should be belittling him for the lack of content of his character and stupid decisions, not race.

Race is just a genetically assigned skin tone. Tells you nothing about the actual person. Obama being black shouldn't even be an issue at all. The fact that it's an issue at all is pretty pathetic.

He's not been president yet... so his policies are nil on the national level. He has stated recently though that he believes the financial sector's corruption is responsible for much of the economic trouble today. He voted when they bailed out the banks, because had they no other choice. If you oppose that you get a target on your back politically.

No .... because Obama is the best man for the job of turning America around and getting us out of the mess that 8 years of Republican administration has put us in.
The Economy is turning around.... so is the unemployment figures........ not a good idea to put the clueless reason for our decline back into office when the Country is improving.
