"We welcome Rev. Kayser's endorsement and the enlightening statements he makes on how Ron Paul's approach to government is consistent with Christian beliefs," said Paul's Iowa chairman, Drew Ivers in a recent press release.
I thought Paul was trying to run as a Libertarian, guess not.
Ron Paul, because Dominionist voters need a theocratic leader that has problems telling the truth.
The pastor endorsed Ron Paul, not the other way around
In other words they have no clue how Ron Paul feels about them.
P.S.It is public record that Ron Paul is against the death penalty.
Paul's campaign manager and face to the world still touts it as a badge of honor. Same thing in my opinion.
If Paul doesn't have some one running the campaign that's on the same page as him, and can't keep track of what his right hand man is doing in his name, how can he lead an entire country? That's not a good sign in any way.
Either he looks like a bigot, or he looks desperately incompetent when he can't even manage the press releases from his campaign manager in his own campaign.
I thought we should vote on who is running, not who is endorsing them.
To me there is a bit of a difference between a bigoted nut that advocates violence coming out and endorsing a candidate, while the campaign rolls their eyes and goes on with their lives, and a bigoted nut that advocates violence coming out and endorsing a candidate and they go to the press shouting "Hey look who endorsed us, it's awesome! This person will get us more votes from our major voting block!"
That's just me though, I guess I am in a minority opinion around true believers.
