If the Repubs bring up Oberman, Rosie or any other unimportant entertainer at their debates, I'm outta there quicker than a klansman at a Kwanzaa fest.

....and let me just add that Oberman (sic), is not an unimportant entertainer. If the truth hurts , then just say so.
I meant Olberman. I think many talking heads have become too much of a celebrity and take themselves way too seriously. I'm not debating whether KO tells the truth or not. Or O'R for that matter. I take what each has to say and do my own research if I'm interested in the topic. Plus, I think there is the element of entertainment on the cable news channels when news and commentary are presented.
Re my OP, sorry about the lack of detail. I viewed a collection of clips of some of the Dem candidates talking about standing up to BO'R, Fox etc. and it just annoyed me and I quickly posted.
When candidates for the US Presidency go on about TV figures, I think it cheapens the position they're trying to achieve.
