This is what the left does. The left who wants all of America to be gay unless it's a conservative. Then, the standards are, of course, different.

The left is insane as evidenced by the OP.

It's likely. With so many anti-gay religious fundies playing airport footsie, holding up in hotels with male hookers and highering gay "assistants" to travel with them and provide errotic messages, can't put is past him.

As an Austinite, I'll tell you that this is one small town. If he were gay, we'd know. Governor Ann was gay, everyone knew it.

I guess I don't understand this thread. Posters who openly talk about the virtue of diversity and rightly talk about the normalcy of homosexuality will now use homosexuality as an intended slur because it might score some political points?

Why is politics so important to you that you would slander the very group you are trying to defend?

"Is Rick Perry Gay" ??? OMG!

There appears to be a lot of evidence that he is - somebody (anonymous of course) saw Anita Perry in a shop and she looked "sad". This stuff comes up during every election cycle when it's all over the news that "Texas is going BLUE!!!". A ton of money is spent in Texas to take it back to the Democrats (who held this State for over 100 years), they have been trying this for years and the best they can come up with is a whisper campaign that (gasp!, did you know? Perry is GAY!) Money came in from all over the country to elect Bill White - I mean REALLY big money. There is not 'there', there ..... these dudes would have trumpeted to the heavens if their were. Texas has only EVER had 6 Republican Governors - it's mostly been a Democratic majority State, but the rest of the country doesn't have a clue about Texas, Texas Democrats or the fact that Texas functions as a mostly Purple State with a strong 'throw the Bums out' attitude. Goofy, partisan hackery does not play well down here. Get the job done or we will find somebody who can. It's the Texas State of Mind.

10 years and many Millions of dollars later ....... nobody had a single thing other than "Anita has a sad face". I don't always agree with Perry, have even voted against him - but "gay"? Give me a break, this is political hackery from a really old play book that has failed over, and over, and over again. Time to come up with something new, 'cause this will never fly. They have been trying for years, and failing for years.

I'm no fan of Perry by any means, but does anyone find it kind of embarassing--as an American-- that something like this would destroy his campaign? Are any Republicans embarassed that this could hurt his chances in his own party? That's my two cents.
