The new Fox News poll of the Florida Senate race has very good news for Republican Marco Rubio, with him holding a commanding lead over independent Gov. Charlie Crist and Democratic Congressman Kendrick Meek.

The numbers: Rubio 43%, Crist 27%, and Meek 21%.
Fox News Poll: Rubio Way Ahead In FL-SEN Race | TPMDC

If Meek wants to stop Rubio from winning, I think he should drop out and throw his support to Crist. It seems obvious right now that Rubio is going to win at this point.

I can't stand Rubio and I won't vote for him. Crist is a scoundrel but at least he is transparent. Rubio is a shill for the Republican party and easily controlled. Crist isn't. So, Crist gets my vote.

Could you explain why you can't stand him and why you think he is a shill? I would just like to know your thinking on this. 2 of our kids live in Fl and would totally disagree with you.

I saw this coming. The nation and most swing states are moving away from Obama. On every issue I've seen since Crist became an Independent, he has sided with the Obama and the Democrat position. He was gunning for a chairmanship in the Senate by kissing the asses of Democrats. Now he's gonna lose. Good riddance guy.

Rubio is smart, Angle & Palin, not so much. Rubio has a plan, Angle & Palin don't. These are the type of tea party candidates the GOP needs to support.

Yep. The republicans are coming home, finally seeing the despicable, POS Crist truly is.

Imagine, a lifelong republican loses a primary and then abandons ALL the values and beliefs he supposedly held dear.

LOL!!!

Crist was the Republican shill, for the Republican party. He sure the hell wasn't the Constitutional candidate!!!! Why did he go "Independent", again? Hahahahehehe!

That is a big twist of reality, you stated! Running scared!

It is a Fox poll, afterall.
A lot of Conservatives voting there. Progressives like Crist just talk about FOX, like a hurt dog yelping.

From what I've observed, Fox News polls are usually right in the middle of the pack with the other polls. Rasmussen is the only one that is regularly an outlier.

The polls are all done scientifically. Liberal NBC partners with the conservative WSJ in polls. And I've even seen MSNBC use Fox News polls in their stories as evidence. Polls don't do any good if they're phony.
