We all know he isn't going to get any chance close to the Whitehouse. But what about his senate seat? Do you think he could hold onto it elections to come?

Florida not being a solid red state the answer has to be no. Senators as you should know run state wide so there isn't anything particularly "safe" about any senate seat.
Considering he's up for reelection in a presidential election year there's a half-decent chance he might lose his seat. Depends on how popular he is then, and there's no way of knowing that now.
I don't think so. He ran in a 3 way race. Crist probably would have won if he didn't change to independent. Many republicans were angry with him. Now I think he switched to a democrat.

No, it is not necessarily safe.
Yes. He could certainly win reelection multiple times.
His advantages are that he is an incumbent who is reasonably charismatic. His disadvantages are then he has ridden a wave to power in a year in which that wave was strongly incoming; however, it no longer is.
In a Presidential year favorable to Republicans, or in a mid-term with a Democratic President, he'll likely skate. In a mid-term with a Republican President, or a year in which a Democrat handily wins the Presidency, he'll likely be vulnerable (though not necessarily doomed).

Crist lost the GOP Senate primary to Rubio -- if switched to 'independent' in order to run in the general election. If he hadn't switched, he couldn't have run in it at all (because first, you've got to win a primary, which Crist couldn't do).

We all know? Are you basing that on facts or your opinion? No, don't answer, we know already, it is simply an opinion based on nothing. Will he get re-elected as a senator, depending on the rules in Florida, he may not be able to run if he is the pres. candidate. Some states do not allow a candidate to run for 2 offices. Now, if he isn't the pres candidate, that is a different story? Where are you getting your ideas about him and maybe his lack of popularity? Have you checked his apporval rating?

Cryst was down 20 points to Rubio when he was running as a republican.
