They're not that far apart. Do you see this happening soon?

What is the definition of SOON?

Besides the fact that they lie in two different states, there are MANY small communities in between.

So in a nutshell - the answer is NO! Not in anyone's lifetime reading this now.

There's no need to get an attitude. I was just asking a question.

I can see it happening , even if I haven't been out that way in quite a while. El Paso can't grow south to the border of Mexico and there's nothing east of El Paso , so El Paso main growth path should be into New Mexico , which has a lower cost of living and maybe a higher standard of living.

Attitude? Who's the one with the attitude? You must be one of those who can't bear to have someone disagree with you? I simply answered you're question negatively, which is what happens in forums regularly! Sorry you don't like the answer. So why don't you explain to readers why you believe there will be one huge metroplex (across state lines) SOON.

I think we already are. The El Paso-Juarez metro region has been around for a while and when you look at El Paso-Las Cruces, there is probably less distance and open space than there is between Dallas-Fort Worth.

People commute, there are buses running back and forth.

I don't think so. Not in the current economy. The cost associated with such a route would not be cost effective.

Check up on the current prices of real estate in both El Paso and Cruces, then get back to us with your results.
