I'm so happy about it too, I really had my doubts that there w/b a happy ending as the dog c/h/b anywhere. Some of the comments to the story were interesting too but the main thing is they're together again. Hopefully they won't use a retractable leash again, they seem kind of hard to hold onto (esp. for a child and an excitable exuberant dog frolicking for the first time in the snow).
