How terrible! but a good warning for parents about the unexpected danger of letting kids walk expensive dogs. I don't know what the world has come to when kids can't walk their dogs (I know, I sound just like my mother!).

Heartbreaking, but yes there is indeed a lesson in this sad story. Certain breeds of dog are definitely more likely to get stolen if not watched carefully. I could see if the dog was left in the backyard unattended or something but the little boy was just walking him! Indeed what has this world come to?
