Italian police were called to catch a poodle that had bitten off the nose of its female owner before running into the garden.

They chased the poodle, called Vale, around owner Loredana Romano's garden before finally retrieving what was left of the nose.

I fail to find any humor in a person's disfigurement. It's a sad story, but difficult to know from this short news article what really happened.

Last time I heard something like this, the dog had a brain tumor that caused aggression. Otherwise, dogs with handler aggression should never be allowed to sleep in the bedroom let alone, the bed.

I am not a poodle fan. No offense but these 'very smart' dogs are too yappy and too snappy for me. (We had 2 as I grew up). My parents loved them (they don't shed too much).

i too don't find anything remotely funny about this story. i feel so sad for the woman. not only does she have a long road ahead with surgeries but she'll never trust her dog again. a sad story.
