I have two Siberian Huskies (9 months old). We are going nuts trying to figure out what to feed these dogs, nothing seems to agree with their tummies. Please Help!

What foods have you tried so far? Has the vet ruled out health problems?

What have you tried them on? What else could they be getting? As in, are the getting into the garbage, outside is there anything they could be eating that they probably shouldn't?

my bros sibe did best w/ store brand food. He couldn't handle many of the other foods out there. I would check w/ the vet. Sibes seem to have very sensitive tummies.

Sibes have notoriously sensitive tummies. It may take quite a bit of trial and error before you find something that works for yours and then, the same food may not work for both of them.

I give my Sibe Taste of the Wild High Prairie formula. She does better on this than anything else I've ever fed her.

A couple of others that she did okay, but not as well on, are Wellness (they make a puppy formula) and Chicken Soup for the Dog Lover's Soul (they also make a puppy formula).

Good luck with your furbabies!!

They are kenneled, so they are not getting into any trash, we keep the trash cans outside of the fenced in yard. We have tried all sorts of brands from what I like to term the designer brands, found only at health food stores in the area to the cheapies. We are trying Sam's Exceed Performance, they have tolerate it well for the past 3 days. I know it's not the best, but it did get a "C" (85) rating. Thanks for all the advise.

When you say you tried all sorts of brands, how much time did you give your dogs to adjust to that food? You can't change food every other day, it's a very slow process, all new food takes at least 2 weeks to introduce. Then it takes another couple of weeks to see how dogs doing on it.
I think it's not the food that the problem, more likely the way you feeding them.
I'm sorry if i 'm wrong here, let me know.

Have you consdered home cooked or raw?

I raised my Siberian on Purina Dog Chow [vet recommended it]

Puppy chow when he was little, dog chow when he grew up.....he lived to be almost 18 yrs old and was never sick a day in his life until old age snuck in.

He would pick up EXACTLY 3 pieces of Dog Chow, carry them across the room, lay down and eat them and then come back for EXACTLY 3 more......never 2 never 4....EXACTLY 3.....would take him all day to eat.

I fed my Alaskan Husky and my Mastiff Chicken Soup for the Pet Lover's Soul - Puppy Formula. It isn't as expensive as some of the other brands at around $1 per pound, and it was given an A+ (113) rating.

I used to feed mine Purina one lamb and rice. She did fine with it but since I have changed to Canidea All life's changes, she loves it.
