I have been noticing him trying to keep weight off of his 'good' leg, the one he did not have surgery on. I took him in to the vet this morning and she said yes, he has the luxating patella on this side as well and will need surgery in the future.

He is not severe by any means as he was with the other leg and the addition of the torn ACL. Right now he is just favoring the left leg which he had the previous 2 surgeries on.

I am going to start saving up for the surgery starting right now. Please keep positive thoughts and prayers out for my Obie. I just hope he doesn't end up hurting and in pain like he was with the other leg.

The surgery is not necessary today but will be down the line.

Obie has healed very well from his previous 2 surgeries. His brother Kitty Katty is laying across my arms as I type...... One big happy furry family as Charlie cat watches as well....Obie snoring in the background.

Awww, so sorry to hear about the needed surgery. Here's hoping that you and your furry family will breeze right through it with no complications.

They should have told you that when one side is done down the road the other usually goes. At least this time you will know what to do & expect. [[[[hugs]]]]] to U & Obie
