The one dogs is a minature poodle, poodles tend to do well as they are very agile graceful dogs. When you watch agility you know how much the dogs are enjoying it and when you have a great team where the dog and handler are working as one it is fantasic to watch .
I was very impressed with the white whippet as sighthounds tend to not have the necessary drive and focus to do well in agility. Most are like my Dazzle and can learn it very fast then take the attitude " Ok I did it you saw me please don't ask again". Dazzle learned the equipment faster then most of the dogs in class then he was done. He enjoys doing the a few things then will run off and stand with the handlers & dogs waiting their turn and watching and turn around and watch me
. When we go to class with Chaso and get there early I have Dazzle do a few things then he runs off to his crate and scratches at the door wanting in."Done!" and he lays quietly watching class really only paying strict attention when Chaos is running. Dazzle is not an agility dog , Chaos on the other hand is.
I still really miss Jazz and Dash when I am at agility
as they so loved doing it.
