One of those doctors (Sinatra) sells a book, and supplements. He tells everyone his crackpot theory to sell more supplements and "grounding" devices. He's just a snake-oil salesman.
The other doctor (Bowden) isn't a medical doctor - he's a PhD with a certification in nutrition. He uses the label "doctor" as a gimmick to sell supplements and books - one of which he co-authored with Sinatra.
Snake Oil Salesman
Buy MY stuff and not THEIR stuff and you will reach the promised land!
Over the bridge or under it - looks like some posters just really love buying bridges. Brooklyn, here we come!

You forgot the biggest bridge of them all, which is the drug companies making billions peddling cholesterol lowering statins because the conventional wisdom is high cholesterol is correlated with heart disease which is still based largely on the flawed research of Ancel Keys. Or perhaps the food companies pushing sugar laden foods as being "heart healthy" because they are low in colesterol and have some fiber. Or perhaps the outmoded and archaic belief that a calorie equals a calorie, which ignores how differenty types of foods impact our bodies, our hunger, our blood sugar and insulin production. Another bridge would be that the conventional wisdom in nutrition is accurate when the country is fatter than ever and there seems to be little improvement in the incidence of heart disease, diabetes, etc.
Some posters have bought quite a number of bridges the last 40 years.
There are major problems with the cholesterol hypothesis. Your tiniest veins never become atherosclerotic. Only arteries do.
The tiniest veins have every bit as much cholesterol flowing through them.
