Which is worse? Bailout money for a casino or bailout money for the porno film industry?

I wasn't aware the porno "industry" wanted money.
I'm not into that stuff...

Either profession has a lot of nerve even asking for bailout money! Although it's true that even the casinos, normally a haven for people who want to make themselves feel better in hard times, are starting to feel the pinch.

I agree that Greektown Casino asking for money is hard to believe. But, ask yourself, would you really want to see that huge brand new Greektown Casino & Hotel just be abandoned. Nothing else is going to fill all of that space.

It would be a disaster for the Greektown District to have that massive building empty.

Everyone wants taxpayer money and a bailout. This political cartoon sums it up:

Bank Of America gets a bailout,
and they're driving me nuts for 400 bucks.DRIVING ME NUTS.
I've EXPLAINED to them numerous times that my health and recent financial situation hasn't allowed me to address this. I've even told them to send someone over for the lousy $26 payment if they are soooo destitute.
They just keep calling.

Bad enough the automotive companies wanted a bailout. Now the Casinos want one? geeze. I think the only bailouts should be too state's so they can continue to function. Michigan for an example, Snowplowing and salting roads, fixing the potholes, police, fire, hospitals...

Here's a more detailed discussion of the pitch for Federally-supported porn. Larry Flynt's attempts to support his case simply defy comment.

"This special all-centerfolds edition of Big Butts was brought to you by the Office of Management and Budget!"

I bet the federal government has wasted and squandered money on worse things. Perhaps federally-funded vouchers for lap dances would help keep some ladies employed and some strip clubs open.
