Hmm... before highways Brush Park was full of homes.

After highways were built.... not so much.

Absolutely. I think outsiders get the impression this is an area that is just factories and cheap stick built homes, but some of these houses and buildings in the core of Detroit are amazing. I have yet to see similar areas.

I notice the view of many people who live in the south, especially in east Tn and sw va seem to think Detroit is just a big pile of rust and gangs and crime..... I cant stand when someone who has never even been north of the ohio river starts to rag on detroit just because "well this is what i read" or " well this is what one study said" its bs man. pure bs.
